Fernalld Design was hired to transform an 8 bedroom "working" chateau into an updated and cohesive traditional style rental for summer tourists in southern France using our design recommendations, paint and faux finishing.
The aim was to renovate the existing room from a pink washover to its original and traditional splendor, emphasizing the coffered ceiling, mouldings and faux finishes.
This room is but one example of renovating the 8 bedrooms to traditional simplicity and elegance.
These rooms went from cheap, outdated wallpaper and confusing color scheme to soothing elegance and a retreat to read and converse.
