The client hired Fernalld Design to assist in the design of an addition and renovation of a 1950's ranch house. The square footage was doubled. Working with the client and the architect, a new floor plan and exterior facade were designed, agreed upon and put into construction.
The interior has an eclectic feel, having to blend in their love for turn-of-the-century oak antique furniture with a more contemporary or transitional style of home. The use of earth tones in color and materials bring in a sense of nature and their Alaskan heritage.
